Dance teachers spend the entire year preparing for this day, RECITAL!  A poorly executed recital could result in a decrease in students which can hurt their business.  Parents work hard bringing their children to and from dance, and work even harder to pay tuition.    Dancers/Students spend the year practicing their dances and working on technique so that they can stand out on recital day.  Dance teachers, parents, and students all play a huge role in making the dance recital.  Here are 3 easy steps to a successful dance recital.

1.  Parent(s) – Line someone up to do the make up and costume changes for you.

Sit back and ENJOY the show!  You’ve worked hard all year for this.

2.  Dancers/Students – Show up on time to all of your classes during the year, and listen to the stage director during the recital.

If you are 10 minutes early, then you are on time!  Also, you have 2 ears and 1 mouth so you should listen twice as much as you speak. These are some good rules to live by.

3.  Dance Teachers – Do not penny pinch on any services that will take your recital to the next level (venue, lighting, music etc.).

“You get what you pay for.”  Remember the recital is not just to show off your dance moves…. its also to show off your business and your brand!  If the show looks and sounds cheap, so will your brand.

We can’t help with make up or costume changes, and we can’t make you go to dance class every day. BUT we can make your dance school sound like a million dollars!
